Grant Llewellyn: Host Melinda Penkava talks with Grant Llewellyn, who makes his debut as the new music director of the North Carolina Symphony tonight at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh. The symphony performs works by Haydn and Mahler. Llewellyn is also artistic director of the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston and is former assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He’s originally from Wales. (17:30)
