Financing the Future

North Carolina could be among the nation’s ten largest states by 2030. That growth means more expenses – roads, schools, housing, and health care, among them. This week, business leaders and politicians are meeting at the Emerging Issues Forum in Raleigh to talk about ways to pay for the future. Host Frank Stasio talks with Roland Stephen, Assistant Director for Research and Policy at the Institute for Emerging Issues; and Rob Christensen, political reporter and columnist for The News & Observer, about what the state should pay for – and how.
