Megachurches – places of worship with more than 2,000 members – are growing. The number has doubled in the last five years, with nearly fifty percent of all megachurches located in the South. Thirty-nine megachurches are now in North Carolina, offering everything from the latest in technology to singles groups to services to fit busy schedules. How do we pick a church? And does the rise of megachurches signal a change in the way we practice faith? Host Frank Stasio talks with Melissa Rogers, professor of religion and public policy at the Divinity School at Wake Forest University; and David Rambo, author of the play “God’s Man in Texas”.
