Songs For Sixty-Five Roses

When Chapel Hill musician and producer John Plymale learned his daughter had cystic fibrosis, he wanted a way to draw attention to the disease. The result is a veritable jukebox of songs from the Tar Heel music scene in the 80’s and 90’s. Host Frank Stasio talks with John Plymale about the benefit CD “Songs for Sixty-Five Roses.” Musicians Claire Holley, John Howie and Greg Humphreys perform live versions of the songs they recorded. (17:30)
