Emmanuel Kembe

Emmanuel Kembe was imprisoned in Sudan 1994 for performing revolutionary songs of love and peace. He was forced to leave his homeland and seek refuge in Durham, where he has continued to spread his messages of peace though music. Kembe talks with host David Crabtree about his musical heritage and his work as a political activist in Sudan. He will also play a few of his traditional and reggae songs of love and peace.
