Host Frank Stasio speaks with Durham developer Andrew Rothschild, Farad Ali, the Project Director of the North Carolina Minority Business Development Center at the NC Institute of Minority Economic Development and Leon Tongrat of the Siler City Arts Incubator about encouraging the economic rebirth of North Carolina’s down-towns through artists and the business of the arts. Together, Frank and the guests listen to a Story Corps interview between Walker Stone who owns Liberty Warehouse in downtown Durham, a renovated tobacco factory and, Andrew Preiss an artist who owns ARP Designs and is a tenant at Liberty Warehouse.
