LOKSHN (NOODLES)
     
  • 1 1/2 cups flour 
  • 1/2 cup water 
  • 1 tbs. sunflower oil 
  • 1 egg
 
Place flour in a bowl. Make a hole in the center and add water, egg, and oil. Mix with  hands, kneading into a smooth dough. Roll  dough into a rectangle. When dough dries, sprinkle with flour, roll up, and cut into thin strips. Cook in boiling salted water and drain. Can be used for soups, kugels, and as a side dish.
