In the Library with the Lead Pipe is a library and information issues blog maintained by a group of librarian publishers ranging from academic, archive, special, and small community library settings.
The blog posts explore new ideas, start conversations, document concerns, and argue for solutions. Some of the more recent posts have discussed the WikiLeaks incident, a library’s journey conducting survey research with a student sample, and the idea of welcoming the homeless into libraries.
In the Library also welcomes contributors and has accepted content from library students and professionals. Click here to learn more about the submission guidelines.
