Hard Rock Cafe Empties
Warehouse Into Museum
By BROOKS BARNES
Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
The Hard Rock Cafe is jumping into the museum business -- but
will anybody come?
Hard Rock plans to open a 17,000-square-foot museum, the Hard
Rock Vault, in Orlando, Fla., in November. It will feature items
from the company's 64,000-item collection, which includes
everything from the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour bus to Buddy
Holly's black glasses to one of Madonna's molars. (Donated by the
Material Girl herself.)
