Lampe, Patristic Greek Lexicon, $29 from Logos!

Re: Trouble with Papyrus that bans divination

Gentlemen, this discussion was a whole 5 years ago, but I am only now, finally getting published the paper that this papyrus appears in. Thanks again for your help with a difficult text! Gary

Re: Trouble with Papyrus that bans divination

Hi guys, again, thanks so much. And yes, "ellipses" is the correct word for these things! If I may impose on you again, this is what I have so far. It makes much more sense, but I don't have any idea for μηδενα κινδυνον. 1. [ἐντυχὼν πολλοῖ]ς οἰ̣[ηθ]ε̣ῖσιν μαντείας τρόποις ἐξαπατᾶσθ̣[αι] 2....

Re: Professor of New Testament, Costa Rica

Shirley, hi! I was there from '83-'86, and have very fond memories. We lived in Bankhead, and had regular season tickets to the orchestra, and attended Bridge of Don Baptist Church. My office in Kings was in the tower to the south of the Kings chapel. See you!
