Re: Selling David Alan Black's "Learn to Read NT Greek" DVD-set (24 DVDs)
Sorry for leaving this thread open. I sold the DVDs a while back. I've had a couple people reach out to me recently asking if they were still available.

Re: Responding to a Communicative Method "mild" Skeptic
I think the real question is whether you learn a language better by actively using the language by listening, speaking, reading, and writing in that language. I think the answer is yes. Thanks Robie! That was my thought process. If this method speeds up and enhances one's comprehension and as a res...

Re: Responding to a Communicative Method "mild" Skeptic
He(?) isn't even really a mild skeptic. Randal can speak for himself, but I cannot imagine him saying that the communicative method will "gain [you] profound insights that can't be achieved otherwise." It's more like he's already on board and convinced, but simply hasn't bothered with it ...

Responding to a Communicative Method "mild" Skeptic
I have a friend who I recently introduced to Buth's materials (I myself am a newbie as well). He was very excited and reached out to a staff member within the Ancient Languages department of a bible college he will be attending next fall. I have only listed below the core details of this faculty mem...

Randall Buth's Program and Online Classes
I am just starting Randall Buth's "Living Koine Greek pt 1" and will be looking to follow it up with pt 2a and 2b. I have little to no background in Koine Greek. 1) Are there any online classes that follow the "communicative" method of teaching Koine Greek with a reconstructed/re...

Re: Intro: Dylan Chapman
Welcome to B-Greek! I live in Durham, what part of NC are you at, and what ministry school have you been attending? I live in Concord (about 5 minutes from the Charlotte Motor Speedway) and go to FIRE School of Ministry which was founded by Dr. Michael Brown (not sure if you're familiar with him). ...

Intro: Dylan Chapman
My name is Dylan Chapman. I am in my last semester of a 3 year ministry school in NC. I am married with 3 daughters and a son. Because one of my professors really emphasized the benefit of knowing Koine Greek (in order to understand the NT), I purchased David Black's beginner's book, "Learn to ...
