Daily Gospel Parallels link via Twitter/Facebook

Re: Normalizing Greek for indexing
Hi Nathan,
I wasn't suggesting a language switch... Just that the array/hash mappings and other code used to normalize the Greek words are easy to borrow and adapt.

Re: Normalizing Greek for indexing
Hi Nathan, If PHP is any use to you, you'll find some useful utils here (with a test suite): https://github.com/eukras/koinos/blob/master/src/Utility/Greek.php https://github.com/eukras/koinos/blob/master/tests/Utility/GreekTest.php Esp. check the functions lowercase, gravesToAcutes, stripAccents, s...

Re: Koine Greek Software libs?
Hi Josh, I previously used a millon-word database (from the Perseus dataset) to brute-force the recognition of Greek words in user-entered texts (up to about 95% success), but I'll be attempting this year to write a Greek indexer that knows enough parsing and grammar to contruct words from their ste...

Re: Koinos: PHP Library for working with References and Gree
Koinos is now running a site of mine called http://hexap.la. It auto-tweets a daily Greek link on https://twitter.com/hexap_la (which echoes to facebook). The site may be useful for easily linking to parallel passages, e.g. today's tweet: http://hexap.la/matt+1.2-17'luke+3.23-38. I'm expecting to op...

Koinos: PHP Library for working with References and Greek
Here's a PHP library (also composer package and Symfony Bundle, though can be used by itself). It's good at matching, manipulating and DB querying for complex biblical references, and at manipulating Unicode Greek text. https://github.com/eukras/koinos This is MIT licensed, so feel free to fork and ...
