Re: Dana Harris new beginning Greek introduction
Hi Leonard: I have a copy of the text in hardback and the workbook in Logos format. I've also watched 5 or so of the videos. I've only read a few chapters so far. Do you have a specific question? Here is my impression so far (as a person who took greek 20 years ago using Summer's grammar and forgot ...

Re: What Modern Greek Grammars do not take an Aspect only view?
Plummer has links to his videos for the grammar, as well as a Onenote "book" if you use Microsoft Onenote, links to various vocab programs, etc. https://beginninggreek.com (takes you tol : https://www.bhacademic.com/beginninggreek/). On Mounces' site (https://www.billmounce.com/biblicalgre...

Re: What Modern Greek Grammars do not take an Aspect only view?
Hi Stirling: I have all the videos for Plummer's Grammar (on the Beginning Greek website), as well as the videos for Mounce's Basics 4th, Dana Harris' new grammar and Constanines grammar. I love how Plummer explains things. Not to be rude I guess, but the videos for the others spend the majority of ...

Re: What Modern Greek Grammars do not take an Aspect only view?
Yep, you are correct. I really like Plummers videos that he has created to use in conjunction with their new grammar. I just watched the intro video on verbs and his view seems to be what I was looking for ( https://youtu.be/LOl2EzDxpSg?t=795 starts at about 13:15). I think after struggling for a wh...

Re: What Modern Greek Grammars do not take an Aspect only view?
Thanks MAubrey I'll check it out. I see the one grammar I have "Beginning with New Testament Greek" is by two of those authors (Merkle and Plummer). I hadn't read their section in their closely yet... I thought someone had said they were Aspect only.
Thanks again
Matthew

What Modern Greek Grammars do not take an Aspect only view?
Hi Folks: I already have several newer greek grammars that take a Verbal Aspect only view (like Deckers, Merkle/Plummer). Which modern Greek Grammar(s) would you recommend that does teach that there may also be a sense of time in the indicative? That is less of a Porter and more of a Runge/Fanning v...

Re: The Greek Family 35 vs Patriarchal Greek Text
Thank you Stephen for the info. I wish Logos software included the Family 35 text (its been in pre-pub gathering interest for a long time. I have the Fm 35 text in Accordance, but for quick scanning and comparing texts I like the way Logos lets me do it: https://learntheology.com/greek_comparison_lo...

One Greek Grammar or Many for beginners Greek
Hi Folks I have several (about 5) beginner level Greek Grammars. I also have an old program that does quizzing and some teaching (Greek Tutor). Originally my plan was to use one Grammar (probably Plummers Beginning Greek Text, though I have Deckers, Dana Harris', Mounce 4th also). I thought I could ...

Question on John D. Schwandt's Grammar
Hi Folks:
I have a 2017 version of the following text in my Logos software. There is now a 'revised" 2020 version. Does anyone know what was revised?

Thanks,
