Re: πορεύθητι and πορεύου Acts 9:11 & 15
Carl Conrad (and/or others of the subject-affectedness faction): I have a question about middle imperatives. Καὶ ὑποστρέψαντες οἱ ἀπόστολοι διηγήσαντο αὐτῷ I would understand this as "When they had returned , the apostles told him …" Καὶ παραλαβὼν αὐτοὺς ὑπεχώρησεν This I would understand as "When he had corralled them [gathered them together] he withdrew" In both cases the action of t...

שֶׁמֶשׁ can be either masculine or feminine which is not true for חִתָהּ which is feminine (sorry about the mappiq in the final he).RandallButh wrote:The example from Gen 35 has a masculine verb with the feminine noun.

Re: ηνοιγη in passive (Acts 12:10, Revelation 15:5)
While there are quite a number of irregular verbs, there is also a pattern according to which the principal parts are developed. It is important to learn this pattern. For the irregulars, you are largely correct that you simply need to learn them [Latin example so I don't need to change fonts: fero,...

Louis L Sorenson wrote: For starters, ἀνοίγω is a very irregular verb. The verb is from the preposition ἀνα and the verb οἴγω (which you never find by itself). Re: How can I save Unicode characters in a .txt file?
If you really do mean a text file, it is not possible to save Unicode in a text file since it allows only 128 differing characters (ASCII). You will need to choose some other format than a text file.
