Modern Koine pronunciation resources
Are there any free resources for Modern Koine pronunciation users? Hearing something in Erasmian and having to (sometimes literally) translate it to Modern+breathing marks is slowing me down big time.

I have no idea if this is modern pronunciation but is certainly isn't Erasmian pronunciation.

You might try trolling YouTube - they have a lot of videos using modern Greek.Benjamin Chandler wrote: ↑June 30th, 2017, 4:30 am Are there any free resources for Modern Koine pronunciation users? I'm not sure what trolling Youtube means but I meant PDF's, epubs, etc. Something that can used without internet. Probably should've said that, sorry.

I meant go to www.youtube.com and do a search for greek readings of the bible. Then you can download them to your computer and listen/view whenever you want.Benjamin Chandler wrote: ↑July 2nd, 2017, 12:52 am I'm not sure what trolling Youtube means but I meant PDF's, epubs, etc. Something that can used without internet. eg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BfYa4Q ... 08671D260F (Matthew chapter 1 read by a modern Greek)
When you get to that page, there is a list of related videos just to the right of the main video

Wow, I hadn't noticed they had added the Septuagint. And the bits that I have heard so far are a little slower than the New Testament readings, which may make it easier to follow for those who have complained about his reading speed.Ken M.
