This is one of the most convincing talks I have heard on the Greek perfect. Mike presented this at the SEBTS conference about a month ago. Lots of data, carefully arranged to make a compelling case.

Thanks for this. I tried to takes notes when he gave it but it was too much to keep up. Good stuff.

A while ago, I used the Fisher-Yates Exact test to determine which verbs are significantly attracted to and repelled by the (plu)perfect. Results here: https://github.com/stemmatic/GNT-colloc ... r/tense.XY
