Septuagint with Strong's?
In doing word studies in the New Testament I often wish I had a resource to search for Greek words in the Septuagint. Is there a website on which one can search the Greek Septuagint? Or any book which indexes Septuagint words, like the King James Concordance does with the New Testament? Or any program (Logos is too expensive) that I can use, like an e-sword extension?

It may be that a hard copy lexicon will give more specific LXX uses than an online Strong's. RBL recently had a review of
Chamberlain, Gary Alan
The Greek of the Septuagint: A Supplemental Lexicon
Peabody, Mass.: Hendrickson, 2011. Pp. xlii + 256.
Hardcover. $39.95. ISBN 9781565637412.
The review is here: http://www.bookreviews.org/bookdetail.a ... ePage=8298
and is very positive.

In addition to Jonathan's recommendation, the standard print Septuagint concordance is by Hatch and Redpath. The supplement is available at http://archive.org/details/ConcordanceG ... ch.redpathDaniel Mehta wrote:In doing word studies in the New Testament I often wish I had a resource to search for Greek words in the Septuagint. You may be able to utilize the Apostolic Bible Polyglot's index. http://septuagint-interlinear-greek-bible.com/. That bible is an interlinear, and the author has created his own modified Strong's index. I downloaded the file once a long time ago, but don't know if it's in the same readable format nowadays.

Awesome! I checked the websites, which are all exactly what I was looking for. I'll also order the book by Robinson, as I generally prefer looking at paper rather than pixels.
God bless!
