I've mentioned Aeschyli Prometheus Vinctus, ed. by H.M. Stephenson a few times, but now that I have worked through it, I would say that I would probably not recommend it as the sole text to use to work through the text.
Besides the usual misprints and mistakes (mainly in the glossary), the primary reason is the choice of the text; it is an old-fashioned version of the text. The second reason is that the promise of a glossary is a little hollow. It only covers about 1/5 of the words needed to read the text. Thirdly, there is not really enough information to deal with the Doricised Choral pieces and the commentary is eclectic not furnishing enough information to "get through" the text.
In some ways it would be useful as a secondary resource to help students at a number of points.
