inserting greek letters in browser or editor

The registration question had as answer ###.
It took me a while to copy and paste which is no solution for the questions I came here to ask in the first place.
Should be grateful for any hints how to use Greek letters (oh those spiritus) without changing the keyboard's lay-out.

I edited out the answer - don't want to tempt the bots.

Basically, install an additional "Greece Polytonic Keyboard", switch to it when you want to enter Greek, switch back when you don't. You can set it up to do that with a simple keystroke.
