Here are three sentences that I have made with some variations to them.
- ὁ λύκος τρώγει οὐ μόνον τὸ κρέας ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰ ὀστέα.
"The wolf eats not only the flesh but also the bones."
οἱ λύκοι ἔφαγον οὐ μόνον τὰ πρόβατα ἀλλὰ καὶ τοὺς ποιμένας
"The wolves ate not only the livestock but also the graziers" - ὁ ἀμελὴς μισθωτὸς ἑκριζοῖ οὐ μόνον τὰ ζιζάνια ἁλλὰ καὶ τὸν σῖτον.
"The carless farm-hand uproots not only the weeds, but also the grain."
ὁ ἀμελὴς μισθωτὸς κατακαίει οὐ μόνον τὰ ζιζάνια ἁλλὰ καὶ τὸν σῖτον.
"The carless farm-hand incinerates not only the weeds, but also the grain."
ὁ ἀμελὴς μισθωτὸς κατακαίει οὐ μόνον τὸ ἄχυρον ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰ σπέρματα.
"The careless farm-hand incinerates not only the chaff, but also the grain (seeds)."
ὁ ἀμελὴς μισθωτὸς θερίζει οὐ μόνον τὸν σῖτον ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸ ἕρκος.
"The careless farm-hand harvests (mows down) not only the crop, but also the fence." - οἱ στρατιῶται ἐσκύλευσαν οὐ μόνον τὰ ἱερὰ ἀλλὰ καὶ τοὺς οἵκους.
"The soldiers plundered not only the temples, but also the houses."
οἱ στρατιῶται κατέσκαψαν οὐ μόνον τὸ ἱερὸν ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸ πραιτώριον.
"The soldiers razed not only the temple, but also the praetorium."
οἱ στρατιῶται ὑπέμεινάν οὐ μόνον τὴν ἡλιοκαΐαν ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸ κρῦος.
