Strowd Roses is accepting applications for grants to be awarded in May 2010 to tax-exempt organizations for projects that improve the quality of life for residents of Chapel Hill or Carrboro.
Grants are for one year and will not exceed $10,000. The grants may cover operating needs, capital expenditures, seed money or matching funds. Strowd Roses has awarded more than $3.2 million to organizations since its inception in November 2001.
Applications are available on the foundation’s website, strowdroses.org, and are due April 30.
