People of all faiths are invited to a dinner celebrating Ramadan on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the United Church of Chapel Hill at 1321 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
The dinner, a traditional Ramadan iftar, or fast-breaking dinner, will be hosted by the Chapel Hill Islamic Society Outreach Committee.
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims abstain from food, drink and other sensual pleasures from the break of dawn until sunset.
