Tom Mills, director of Google’s enterprise education division, visited Smith Middle School last week to learn how Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools students are interacting with technology.
Mills is on a tour of various North Carolina K-12 schools and universities to collect feedback from educators concerning Google education applications. CHCCS is among the first school districts in North Carolina to use Google applications for education.
Mills discussed the expansion of the Google Marketplace, an application store where teachers can add third-party education applications directly to their Google accounts.
