The Carrboro Farmers’ Marker hours will change to 7 a.m. to noon starting Saturday. In addition, Wednesday afternoon markets will resume April 11 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
To celebrate the spring market hours, Vimala Rajendran of Vimala’s Curryblossom Café will prepare Indian cuisine using local ingredients starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
For the reopening of the Wednesday market, Crook’s Corner Chef Bill Smith will prepare samples of southern style local dishes, followed by a post-market food truck rodeo fundraiser to benefit Farmer Foodshare.
