The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough and the Orange County Main Library will hold Family Fun Days on Aug. 13.
Family Fun Days is a special summer series held on the second Saturday of the month from June through September and features a variety of activities in downtown Hillsborough, including guided tours, children’s activities, artisan demonstrations, a farmers’ market, shopping and dining.
Story time will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Purple Crow Books, a Native-American Heritage demonstration will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Orange County Historical Museum, the Eno River Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon at the Public Market House and blacksmithing demonstrations will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the Blacksmith Shop at the Shops at Daniel Boone.
Pick up a Passport to Historic Hillsborough – which includes a listing of places to visit in town – at the Orange County Main Library on Aug. 13, and collect stamps for a prize. For more information, visit visithillsboroughnc.org
