Last week, 14 Chapel Hill and Carrboro restaurants were honored for their commitment to local hunger-relief efforts at a reception at Top of the Hill hosted by the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service. IFC President Herb Paul presented plaques recognizing each restaurant’s long-term commitment to RSVVP Day, a fundraiser for IFC’s hunger-relief programs now in its 23rd year.
The restaurants honored were Caffe Driade, Domino’s Pizza of Carrboro, La Hacienda, Mama Dip’s Country Kitchen, 35 Chinese, Café Parvaneh, Top of the Hill, Elmo’s Diner, Flying Burrito, Hunam Chinese, Subway of Glenwood Square, Subway of Timberlyne, Ye Olde Waffle Shoppe and Captain John’s Dockside.
