Strowd Roses, a nonprofit foundation that supports projects in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area, will host a ceremony to celebrate a decade of community support on Sunday. The ceremony will take place from 3-5 p.m. in the Gene Strowd Rose Garden in Chapel Hill’s Community Center Park.
In the past decade, Strowd Roses has provided almost $4 million in grants to fund several hundred nonprofit organizations and community initiatives in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area.
