Chapel Hill-Carrboro district alumni were inducted into the Chapel Hill High School/Lincoln High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday. Inductees were Mike Earey, basketball; Dovonte Edwards, football; Robert Edwards, football; Lizzie Newton, lacrosse; Steve Scott, soccer; and Coach Joe Augustine, football. Dovonte Edwards plays football for the Detroit Lions.

The Carrboro High School Spring Athletic Awards Ceremony will be held May 20 at 7 p.m. The ceremony will celebrate the accomplishments of the baseball, men’s golf, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, softball, men’s tennis and track and field teams.
