2009 Congressional Arts Competition

Congressman David Price is encouraging high school students from his 4th Congressional District to participate in the annual Congressional Arts Competition. The winner for each district will receive a scholarship of $5,000 per year to the Savannah College of Art and Design and their artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building. Submissions will be judged by representatives from the local arts councils of Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake Counties on April 23. Students must submit artwork by Thursday, April 16 for Wake County, and Friday, April 17 for Chatham, Durham, and Orange Counties.
