Read with Kids Challenge aims for 5 million minutes

US Airways and Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) launched the “Fly with US. Read with Kids.®” campaign, featuring the online Read with Kids Challenge. The initiative has a goal of 5 million minutes spent reading with children from April 1-June 30. Last year’s challenge saw more than 16,000 participants logging 3.8 million minutes of reading. Participants can join individually or as teams of three or more adults. Registration and an online reading log are available at RIF.org/readwithkids. All registrants will be entered to win a grand prize drawing of a Walt Disney World® Resort vacation package from US Airways Vacations, US Airways gift cards, and other great prizes. A randomly selected team will win the opportunity to select a featured RIF program and a school in its community to receive a special children’s book collection.
