Gimme Five! Tiff of The Bamfs

Self-proclaimed “punk ninjas” The Bamfs formed in September of 2010 to make war on “music that sucks.” They’ve got a hard driving sound and a bad attitude to match, but can their fierce lead singer handle a few questions?

See for yourself after the jump.

1. If your band were a fashion accessory, what would it be? (and why if you can articulate it?)
We would be a belt, because we hold you up and never let you fall. We add that extra flare and can complete & compliment just about anything.

2. What’s the strangest show/venue you’ve ever played?
This may not be the strangest show, but it was pretty epic. We played at Sadlacks, and had a crew of homeless men watching us. Two of them got a bit bored after not getting too much money, but a fan told us the third said he loved our music and he started to break it down. He was dancing Dave Chapelle style the entire show, and he even let his friends leave without him. It was awesome!

3. Describe your typical band practice.
Sweaty, drunk, and loud. We goof around and have a good time.

4. Who/what might be a few inspirations or influences that would really surprise people?
Somebody that might really surprise people is Bob Marley, because obviously we are a punk band; but we love some Reggae.

5. What did you dream of being when you were a kid? (how ’d that turn out?)
The lead singer of a band. I told my mom when I was 4 years old that was what I was going to be, and apparently I never dropped it. So far it’s working out, just need to get that fame thing going on *wink*

Keep your eye out for your next chance to see The Bamfs in action. And, by all means, give Tiff a high five when you see her!
