SPOTLIGHT: 10 by 10 in the Triangle

With topics ranging from romance to fortune cookies to perfect strangers, 10 by 10 in the Triangle is 10 plays, written by 10 different people, each performed in 10 minutes.

In its 11th year, 10 by 10 in the Triangle comes to The ArtsCenter with 10 of the best new plays written by novice and critically acclaimed playwrights from across the globe, and for the first time will also feature 10 local actors and directors.

This year the plays were selected from more than 500 scripts submitted from around the world, and Jeri Lynn Schulke, artistic director of ArtsCenter Stage, said the submissions were “among the best 10-minute plays that I have read.”

The plays will be performed at The ArtsCenter July 6-8, 12-15 and 19-22. Shows Thursday through Saturday begin at 8 p.m., while performances on Sunday start at 3 p.m. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $16 in advance or $18 day of, $12 in advance or $14 day of for students and seniors and $13 for ArtsCenter Friends. For shows on Thursdays and Sundays tickets are $14 in advance or $16 day of, $10 in advance or $12 day of for students and seniors and $12 for ArtsCenter Friends.
