What can I say this kid having never played high school b-ball (h.s. school didn't carry any sports program) has improved every year. This gentleman is a solid person off the court as well as off the court. He is huge standing at 7-1 and 285 pounds although I have heard that he is really closer to 6-11 doesn't matter he still will play the center postion in the nba based on his weight. Is a very poor free throw shooter who really needs to improve this facet of his game had he even been a 67 percent free throw shooter he would have averaged 25 ppg instead of 20 ppg. Has very poor perimeter game his range is about 8 ft and in and he does have a poor feel in the paint as his .499 fg% will show Blocks shots very well year I beileve he lead the nation this year ( ranked 4th last year) Rebounds descent but not dominating which you whould have thought he would have been able to do in the meac conference. Overall I see alot of people dismissing this kid as a first rounder trust me size alone makes him valuable and the fact that he is still improving adds to his stock. I see him as a late first to very early second

Has the body and is a tremendous shot-blocker, but does he have the heart? Laziness running up the court on defense was evident this past season, and you get the feeling his numbers should be a whole lot better at that level of play at a small D-I conference. Had a terrific shot blocking average, but so did Grady Livingston (Howard)a few years ago. Will probably be drafted based on size and potential alone, but personally, he reminds me a lot of Lorenzo Coleman (Tennessee Tech) last year who had many of the same traits -- and he went undrafted and was cut during Celtics training camp.
