Scouting Report: JazzyJ [JazzyJDT@aol.com]
Talented inside player who finished 3rd in the nation in scoring. Named 3rd Team All-American by most services and Division I newcomer of the year by some. Devastating scorer inside with good post moves. Lefty shot creates problems for opposition. Has been likened to Wayman Tisdale by TCU head coach Billy Tubbs, who coached both in college. Good ball-handler for his size and has led the break on occasion. Stats may be enhanced by the Tubbs system, but seems to be the real deal. Several questions surround Nailon. He's well-travelled, TCU having been his 4th stop in 4 years (he went to Butler County CC twice). There are some off-the-court problems, having been involved in a domestic dispute this past season. Has a rep for laziness on the court at times. Height also may be closer to 6'7" instead of the listed 6'9". Does he have the flexibility to move to SF if needed? Outside shot may be lacking for that position. Has said he will keep options open if he is not a lottery pick, and right now it looks like he will fall outside of that range (just slightly). A good Chicago showing could put to rest a lot of the questions surrounding his game.

Scouting Report: GChing [GChing@aol.com]
Very accurate scouting report on Nailon. However, he did not lead the break so well. Usually, he pulled up for a jump shot or turned it over. I question his ball handling skills. SF will be tough spot for him. He does have a nice shot, obviously. His off the court problems, and his moving from college to college prove the fact that he is a hot head. In all fairness, his teammates seem to feel that he is a nice guy. His temper does help him compete though. The other problem he has is that he commits stupid fouls often. Probably because he is so lazy of defense. He's no Wayman Tisdale.
