Jermaine Jackson is a defensive-oriented
point guard who brings consistency every night to the table. Not particularly spectacular
in any one area, Jackson was a 4-year starter at the point for Detroit, and was a key
component of 2 NCAA tournament teams his junior and senior years. Jackson has good size,
and might just be the best rebounding point guard in the draft after Andre Miller. He is a
good penetrator, and gets to the line well, where he shoots FTs well enough to convert.
Outside shooting is somewhat suspect, and does need work. Takes care of the ball well, but
nothing flashy. Performance in the Chicago pre-draft camp will solidify 2nd round pick
status, if not enhance it. |
