Scouting reports

Scout: Shaen Allen [sdallen@memphis.edu]

James will problably play small forward in the NBA. He is a very good shooter inside 17 feet. Very consistent over his career at Miami in scoring and rebounding. May have to find a specialty at his size and position though (i.e. Bo Outlaw). 3-point shooting skills may limit his chances, but he has a more complete game than some of the underclassmen expected to go before him. I think he will do well in the NBA with the right team. Miami did not run a lot of plays for him. He had to work for everything. Which is what he'll have to do at the next level. I think he's a steal at 19 or 20.
