Marcus Fizer is a slasher. He has a nice perimeter shot and is deadly around
the hoop. He will be a good NBA player and would be a good fit with Vancouver.

Marcus Fizer is the best player in this years
NBA Draft. When all is said and done Fizer will be head and shoulders above
Kenyon Martin. He is the complete package. I see him scoring 22 ppg and
grabbing 12 rebounds a game in a few years.

Fizer has been compared to Karl Malone because of his ability to get his
shot off quicker and more accurate than any other power forward in
college. He is also powerfully built, and although some have listed him
anywhere from 6'5" to 6'8", his incredible strength will allow him to
compete with other NBA forwards. He has great range on his jump shot
and is quick enough to play the small forward position. His defense was
very suspect last year, but he improved it greatly this year. He might
have trouble guarding taller post players, but has had a great work
ethic throughout his career. His play resembles Glenn Robinson more
than any other player.

Marrcus Fizer is a great all around player! For a 6'8 forward he can handle
the ball ,play defense, and he can shoot the ball. Look for him to go in the
top five.

I like his all around game a lot, but I think there's a question about where he'll play in the NBA. He's a litle short for PF and not quick enough to play SF - he could have real defensive problems. Corliss Williamson comes to mind, but he could be more than that. His move up to 35% on threes is a good sign. Scout: Kenneth Bowers |
