What a fine little demon. Started off the day with this guy. Unfortunately they only ran one train, so a normal 20 min wait took 40. For you specs freaks, here's what i remember from the cool little charts they have at the outside of each coaster now. Height 78 ft. Top Speed 40 mph, constructed 1964. Rode this one in the back seat, with the seatbelt loosened as far as it would loosen. Got some really nice airtime. If the lines hadn't been so sort for the other rides, and so long for this, I would have been on it more than once.... :(

Very smooth for it's age and nice airtime in the backseat.

Running as well as ever. Some new track on the return side, outside rail. New welds on lap bars indicate that the bars have been cut and reassembled, probably to replace padding (so why don't they switch from yellow to black?)

The Blue Streak was the first coaster slated for ERT, causing a 25 minute line such that I could only ride this twice during the ERT. However, the line for the Blue Streak was about 5 minutes long during most of Friday and was about 20 minutes long during dinner on Saturday. This ride is just plain FUN! Classic trains with a fixed-position lapbar; airtime on almost every hill; a decent first drop. And it was really smooth, especially compared to the Mean Streak or Gemini. A true classic coaster.

This was the first coaster we encountered. About a 20 minute wait, three trains running. This was a very enjoyable out-and-back woodie with good airtime in the back seat. In the third seat, there was some *serious* air on the second half of the ride - I thought I was going to have a bruise on my thigh from slamming into the lap bar.
It wasn't possible to wait for a particular seat, but we got lucky both times we rode.
Unfortunately, the Blue Streak had some sort of problem about 9:45 PM, as we were waiting for our last ride of the day. One train was stopped on the lift hill, another on the brake run, and the third somewhere on the track. They did manage to get the trains that were stopped around to the station and unloaded, but at 10:05 they announced "no more rides". Of course they had to wait till it was too late to get to anything else...

A solid airtime performer. The lap bars seemed harder on my thighs than usual as I flew out of my seat...but hey! At least you get to fly out of your seat, right?

Rode many times (Lost count). Middle but usually got lucky and got the last seat. One word AIRTIME! Only coaster in the part that I can rely on to give me lots of air.
