Underway in the Atlantic, east of the entrance to Chesapeake Bay (position 36 24'N, 75 22'W) on 15 February 1944. She is steaming northwards (course 085).
Photographed from a blimp based at Naval Air Station, Weeksville, North Carolina. The airship was flying at an altitude of 150 feet.
