Photograph dated circa 5 September 1940, by which time she had been redesignated AVD-3.
She wears her APD number ("16") and the aviation star insignia on her bow and is armed with two 4"/50 guns (one forward, one aft) and four .50 caliber anti-aircraft machine guns (mounted two on each side atop the midships deckhouse).
