Crewmen and embarked troops receive lessons in Arabic while in the Atlantic en route from Norfolk to Oran, Algeria, to take part in the invasion of Sicily. Photographed on 15 June 1943.
Note the segmented shading of the number on the landing craft in the background, The number, PA90-1, indicates it is boat number one assigned to APA-90.
