Honda Point disaster, September 1923


Wreck of USS S.P. Lee (DD-310), just offshore at Honda Point, California, circa late 1924, after the ship had been substantially broken up by wave action. View looks toward the north, with the Southern Pacific Railway trestle in the right distance.
