USS Northern Pacific (1917-1919)
Workmen scraping the ship's hull side in preparation for repainting,
while she was in Drydock # 3 at the New York Navy Yard, February-May
1919. She was undergoing repair of damages received in her 1
January 1919 grounding off Fire Island.
Note rivetted hull plating, loading doors in the ship's side,
and her starboard propeller shaft.
