USS Melville
(Destroyer Tender # 2), at left

With a destroyer alongside, at Queenstown, Ireland, circa 1917-1918.
The destroyer is one of the group numbered from 43 to 62, mounting twin torpedo tubes.
Note the five-inch gun on Melville's deck, in the lower left, and life rafts nested atop the destroyer's after deckhouse, in the lower right.
