"The Rebel Steamer 'Page', now lying at Acquia Creek"


Engraving, after a sketch by Lieutenant Osbon, published in "Harper's Weekly", 1861. It depicts the steamer George Page, originally a U.S. Army transport, which was captured by the Confederates in May 1861. Later possibly renamed City of Richmond, she was employed by Confederate forces until destroyed on 9 March 1862.
