USS Crest
(SP-339)

In port, circa 1917-1919, with other converted trawlers behind her.
Originally the fishing trawler Crest (built in 1911), this ship served as a section patrol vessel in the First Naval District during World War I. She was of similar design to USS Whitecap (SP-340), from whose "SP" data card this photograph was copied.
