Celeritas
(American Motor Boat, 1916)

Underway, probably in the vicinity of New York City, in 1916-1917.
Built by Robert Jacobs of City Island, New York, and owned by R. B. Meyer of New York City, this craft was acquired by the Navy on 28 May 1917 and placed in commission a day later as USS Celeritas (SP-665). She was stricken on 17 May 1919 and sold on 25 June 1919.
