Coming alongside USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) for refueling, while operating in Hawaiin waters on 9 January 1965.
Photographer: PH3 P.L. Singh.
Converted for anti-submarine warfare in 1949-1950 and redesignated DDE-577, Sproston reverted to DD-577 on 30 June 1962.
