S.S. Favorite
(American Salvage Tug, 1907)

In an icy port, with horse-drawn sleds alongside apparently picking up or delivering supplies, circa 1907-1917. Location may be on the Great Lakes, as she wears the "G" smokestack marking of the Great Lakes Towing Company.
This ship served as USS Favorite (ID # 1385, later IX-45) during World Wars I and II.
The original photograph is printed on post card ("AZO") stock.
