Her Navy jumper uniform was non-regulation, but was locally approved for Yeoman (F) wear pending the adoption of the official uniform.

Chief Erd, who served at First Naval District Headquarters, in Boston, Massachusetts, contributed the royalties from this composition to the wartime Navy Relief effort.
